SALES AND SERVICE PARTNERSHIP
PINE AND TIMBER MANUFACTURING
FEBRUARY 2000
LEADING tooling specialist, Garniga Enterprise SpA, has recently completed and opened a modern, new head office and production complex in Isera, Rovereto, Northern Italy. Garniga's dedicated workforce clearly benefits from being employed in a manufacturing environment which is 'spotless' in appearance and which is equipped with what is claimed to be the most advanced machinery available. These include two new Mandelli fully automated CNC machining centres, which are working alongside two semi-automatic Mandelli machines. The Garniga company is fully-backed by the vast and hugely successful Bengodi commercial organisation, whose president, Ingrid Todisco, is also president of Garniga Enterprise SpA.

Over the years, Garniga tooling has been supplied to several areas of the UK and is to be found currently operating successfully in many well-known production outlets.
However, in order to increase sales and at the same time provide a reliable service and support organisation for the expanding British market, Garniga Enterprise has now teamed up with the well respected and established company, Carbide (UK) Ltd, of Kingston upon Hull, who will be Garniga's sales and service partner for the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
This co-operation has been established following a visit by Riccardo Garniga to Carbide UK's premises and subsequent in-depth visits to the new Rovereto plant made towards the end of last year by Carbide (UK)'s directors, Bill Cameron and Laurie Witherwick. It became immediately apparent that Carbide (UK) and Garniga are like-minded companies, who share a common interest in providing customers with first-rate products backed up by a reliable, second to none delivery and after-sales service.

Carbide (UK)'s commitment to the future is amply illustrated by the recent purchases of the latest Walter CNC machining centre and the seven-axis Tigra 1500 fully-automatic CNC profile tip grinding machine, which will allow the company to supply extremely accurate profile tips at highly competitive rates. Both of these heavy capital investments in state-of-the-art, technologically advanced machines further enhances Carbide (UK)'s reputation for providing its customers with a constantly updated and improved all-round 'One-Stop Service' in respect of sales, manufacturing and servicing facilities.
The new Garniga/Carbide (UK) partnership will provide total support for a network of area distributors, which is currently being established through-out the UK. Appointed distributorships will receive a full technical back-up service from Carbide (UK) for spares and replacement parts together with complementary tooling to support the Garniga programme.
Plans for the immediate future include Sales Seminars to be held at Carbide (UK)'s Kingston upon Hull premises to introduce new products as they become available and to provide updates on advances in Garniga technology such as the new 'wedge system', which is claimed to be unique to international tooling markets and the innovative Garniga 'New-Fix' system, which is designed to transform existing standard woodworking machines into complete machine centres. Garniga tooling is designed and produced to facilitate simplification of even the most complicated and difficult applications.
Garniga engineers and technicians are constantly carrying out intensive studies of all types of new woodworking machines introduced in order to provide the most suitable solutions to overcome production difficulties. Ongoing research and development by Garniga has resulted in its customers continuing benefiting from significant time savings, increased tool life, reduced noise levels, reduced sanding times, maximum safety and the opportunity to purchase the most modern, high quality tooling at competitive prices.
