Carbide (UK) LTD was formed in 1984 to supply woodworking tooling to mainly Industrial users. The business was then extended to provide servicing of all kinds of wood and metal cutting tools.

The company continued to grow and in 1993 it was decided to begin the manufacture in house of many of the tools we had previously had to purchase from other countries.

Investment was made in many areas, including Hi Tech C.N.C. machining centers and AutoCAD® systems. This enabled us to produce high quality tooling at an affordable price. In our own manufacture are simple tools such as rebate heads, serrated blocks, planer blocks, hydro heads, along with complex disposable tip tooling for window and door sets.

The latest addition to our manufactured range include Solid Carbide Spiral Router Cutters created on CNC grinding machines, enabling guaranteed accuracy and repeatability, this principle also applies to the C.N.C grinding of complex profile tips.

Carbide (UK) LTD has always been committed to provide our customers with a good all round service; with the sales, manufacturing and servicing facilities. Always looking towards the future, we pursue new technology to increase this commitment and will continue investment to do so.

The main manufacturing and servicing site of Carbide (UK) LTD and The Saw Servicing Centre is in Hull, East Yorkshire, England. As well as the manufacturing and servicing facilities the customer service counter is open at the Hull premises to deal with enquiries and deliveries to do with Carbide (UK) LTD, or the Carbide Toolbank Catalogue.
